One of the privileges of being a member of Loyal Order or Women of the Moose is the use of the social quarters, designed as a family-centered space for you to relax and socially connect with fellow members and guests.
Enjoy a sumptuous meal from our full commercial kitchen as you take part in the many types of activities happening in the social quarters.
Activities in the social quarters range greatly: it can be anything from a simple gathering for birthdays, events for members and their families, a time for special dinners, for people to spend time together socially and enjoy each other’s company.
We often have live entertainment and if you enjoy Karaoke, keep an eye on the calendar, we have regular Karaoke opportunities for members and guests.
Because of our private club status, we are allowed by the charitable gaming commission in the state of Virginia to conduct gambling in the social quarters for members only; NOT their guests. (Hint: sounds like a good reason to become a member?)
We have true gaming, raffle gaming, electronic pull tabs, and manual pull tabs, and on Friday nights we have the Queen of Hearts drawing.
Our kitchen is fully capable of serving upwards of 700 people during a large scale event, while at the same time providing our members an intimate touch with top quality individual meals in the social quarters.
As part of the social quarters we have a billiard room with no less than three pool tables. The billiard room is available for use by members and their guests. Tuesday nights are designated Pool Shooters night and you’ll find some regular pool players. Come on over and make some new friends!
Roanoke Moose Lodge is a PRIVATE club as designated by Moose International and the Internal Revenue Service, and thus any guests must be signed in and accompanied by members. We’d love to have you as a guest – learn more!
